Utilization of Electric Vehicle Grid Integration System for Power Grid Ancillary Services

Electric vehicle grid integration (EVGI) is one of the most important parts transportation electrification. However, large-scale EV charging/discharging can have an adverse effect on distribution grid, due to a large amount load being drawn from or fed back power grid. Additionally, electronics used in interaction may impose additional complications, such as voltage and frequency deviation, harmonic distortion, etc. With proper control scheme designs for grid-connected inverters, complications be mitigated, several ancillary services, support, reactive mitigation, facilitated EVGI. In this study, EVGI system developed where vector implementation inverter d-q reference frame presented providing different services using system. The operated modes ensure multiple study supported by electromagnetic transient simulation performed Matlab/Simulink shows that with mechanism provide useful services.
